Janine Jansen seems to be everywhere at the moment - and
we're not complaining.
The sassy Dutch violinist has already been a star in her native
Holland for some years. She has played with a number of top
European orchestras and at the BBC Proms in London, where she
opened the 2005 season with a performance of Mendelssohn's
Violin Concerto.
She has a recording contract with Decca, and attracted
international attention when her version of Vivaldi's The Four
Seasons made 75 per cent of its sales through downloads.
