Clarinetist Matt Hunt leads an inspiring masterclass for young woodwind players in which participants perform, receive feedback and encouragement on their performance, and get the chance to listen to and learn from fellow performers.

Matt has been clarinetist with Ensemble 360 since its formation in 2005 and is also in the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie. He has performed with Belcea and Meta4 quartets, the Kungsbacka Piano Trio, Pekka Kuusisto, Natalie Clein and Thomas Adès as well as with many of Britain’s leading orchestras. Matt has recorded many film scores, including the solo clarinet part for Love Actually and Pride and Prejudice. He is the Visiting Clarinet Consultant at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and International Chamber Music Studio Tutor at the Royal Northern College of Music, and has led masterclasses at York and Sheffield Universities, in Japan and at the Britten-Pears School.
