A group of composers, songwriters, arrangers and performers from various backgrounds and nationalities are collaborating with The Bergersen Quartet for a night of musical fusion. Performers include world musicians, Phuong Nguyen on accordion, Nishi Malhotra (Indian vocalist) and Ashiq Hussain (tabla and harmonium) performing pieces with influences of classical (Simon Speare’s “Beauty and the Beast”), electronica (Brian Lock’s “Sonata for Clarinet, Laptop and Percussion”), theatre ( Craig Adam’s songs), songwriting (Longfellow, David Simon), and drum’n'bass (Richard Norris’ Mumbai Nights).
