The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra makes a triumphant return to the Rose this spring with a delectable programme of classical masterpieces.
Mendelssohn’s superbly crafted and atmospheric Hebrides Overture introduces Mozart’s delicate and melodious Flute and Harp Concerto. This beautiful work will be performed by two of the RPO’s celebrated principal players – flautist Emer McDonough and harpist Suzy Willison-Kawalec. Beethoven’s glorious Symphony No.7 completes the programme, a perfect demonstration of this great composer’s mastery of the symphony.
