So, Darius Campbell - formally known as Darius Danesh, aka the one who didn't win Pop Idol - has been crowned the victor (or should that be victim?) of Popstar to Operastar. Rather than immediately denounce the show as vulgar trash, Muso vowed to give the series a chance; what could possibly be more entertaining than watching an Osmond and a Nolan sister attempt the perils of Puccini et al? Besides, anything that brings opera into the mainstream is good, right...?
