The Auricle Ensemble perform a concert of American icons, with the original orchestrations of Gershwin’s ’Rhapsody in Blue’, Copland’s Appalachian Spring and Bernstein’s West Side Story. Conducted by Christopher Swaffer, Ives’ Unanswered Question is also featured alongside some thoroughly modern icons in Michael Daugherty’s What’s That Spell?, featuring two sopranos performing as Barbie.
