Biography
The Marylebone Trio, formed in 2003 by postgraduate students at the Royal Academy of Music is a talented, up-and-coming woodwind trio. Since their formation the Trio has made a name for itself across the UK, giving recitals around London and impressing audiences with their imaginative and sensitive playing at high-profile music festivals including Hertford, Warwick, Potters Bar, Stratford-upon-Avon and Deal. They have played in the presence of HRH Prince Edward and HRH Prince Andrew and were recently asked across to the Isle of Wight to be the first classical act to perform at the Quay Arts Centre, the Isle of Wight’s leading venue for live arts events. The trio also enjoy performing onboard cruise ships and have toured to the Norwegian Fjords, Sydney, Hong Kong the Baltic states and Russia.The Marylebone Trio is dedicated to education and outreach work, and has developed a series of workshops for school children and hospital patients.
