THE EXTREME CELLISTS, WHO HAVE MADE A NAME FOR THEMSELVES PERFORMING IN EXTRAORDINARY LOCATIONS, ARE ABOUT TO EMBARK ON THEIR MOST PHYSICALLY DEMANDING VENTURE – THE FOUR PEAKS CHALLENGE.
In order to raise money for Aspire, a charity dedicated to
rehabilitating spinal injury patients, and Mountain Rescue, Jeremy
Dawson, Clare Wallace and James Rees will give performances on top
of the highest mountains in Scotland, England, Wales and Ireland.
The challenge, running between 21 and 30 July, will begin with Ben
Nevis, followed by Scafell Pike before the trio scale Snowdon in
Wales to play at its newly opened visitor centre, and finally
Carrauntoohil in Ireland.

The trio will tackle the peaks from as close to sea level as is practical, carrying their own instruments, with the support of a small number of assistants to help move other equipment.
'We hope that experienced mountain walkers really appreciate our tour and help us raise in excess of £10,000 for charity this year,' said Dawson. 'If you want to come and hear our performances on top of the mountains, you are very welcome.'
