This Albanian-born violinist is a hunk with a heart. When not
displaying great musical virtuosity, he's active in a number of
charitable organizations such as Children for a Better World.
The thoughtful twenty-something also mentors gifted young musicians
at the Bavarian Starnberger Musiktage, which he founded in 1999. In
between helping youngsters, Turku spends his time traveling the
world and has performed with some of the finest orchestras in
Spain, the USA, and his native Albania.
When world-renowned ladies' man Bill Clinton visited Berlin in
2002, Turku was the first choice to play for the former president.
