Traditional Scottish on the menu at Edinburgh Fringe
MUSICIANS WILL PERFORM TRADITIONAL SCOTTISH MUSIC AT A FREE CONCERT HELD AT THE NATIONAL MUSEUM OF SCOTLAND DURING AUGUST'S EDINBURGH FRINGE SERIES, THANKS TO OUTREACH ORGANISATION LIVE MUSIC NOW (LMN)
The line-up - consisting of members of LMN's alumni -
includes this year's BBC Scotland Young Traditional Musician of
the Year, Ewan Robertson, Mary Ann Kennedy, Claire Mann, Aaron
Jones and medieval-influenced folk act Panalba.
'I can guarantee that the audiences at the Edinburgh Fringe
will be enchanted by our charismatic and talented musicians,'
said LMN director Carol Main. 'It will definitely be an
unforgettable experience of Scottish music for visitors and locals
alike.'
The series runs for the duration of the Edinburgh Fringe from 4-22
August with musicians performing on weekdays only (except 13
August) between 12.45pm and 1.20pm.
